Biography

Mr. Ali Kamil ÖZMEN began his professional career in 2005 at Midas Global Logistics (formerly Emka Trans), where he worked for 3.5 years as an Overseas Relations, Sales Support, and Operations-Documentation Specialist.

In May 2009, he joined K Tankering and Ship Management Company, a subsidiary of Kaptanoğlu Holding, where he was responsible for purchasing, logistics, and pre-accounting.

Between 2010 and 2011, he served as an Import-Export Logistics Executive at AIRON, a freight forwarding company under the Başak Logistics Group. In 2011, he returned to Midas Global Logistics as an Overseas Agents’ Relations Executive.

Since January 2012, he has been working at the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye (formerly the Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey – ISPAT). He initially served as a Coordinator, leading teams responsible for Russia & India, CIS countries, and Logistics & Infrastructure. In 2019, he was appointed Head of the Public-Private Partnership Department.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering from the University of Istanbul. His areas of expertise include infrastructure, public-private partnership (PPP) projects, and logistics.
