Biography

Ramazan Mengi represents the third generation of the Mengi Yay Yachts family, one of Türkiye’s most established yacht builders. Founded in 1964 as a small workshop by his grandfather, the company has grown into a major shipyard spanning over 20,000 m², capable of building superyachts exceeding 60 meters. As a member of the executive board, Ramazan Mengi plays a central role in advancing both the shipyard’s new build and refit operations. He has driven initiatives to modernize the yard’s technical infrastructure, integrating advanced technologies such as hybrid propulsion systems and sustainable materials. Mengi also spearheaded the creation of Reviva Refit, a dedicated brand focusing on refit, repair, and modernization services. His leadership reflects a commitment to strengthening Türkiye’s global reputation in yacht construction and ensuring that Mengi Yay continues to set benchmarks for craftsmanship, innovation, and quality.
